Mary Woods, ‘final scene’

Mary Woods has been searching for someone for years now. This person is a girl, is young, is probably familiar to many of us, and yet she evades all attempts, hostile and benevolent, to reach her. For her first solo show in Glasgow, Woods enlists her audience in the search, asking that they examine the clues themselves and identify where this girl may be hiding; in  the faces of their friends, in the crowd at an opening, within themselves.
